Plays may be a celebration of family life, or an examination of complexities and issues in Native families. Alternately, plays may dramatize traditional family stories or family histories. Specific topics can range anywhere from coming-of-age stories to foster care or adoption stories; the discovery of shared heritage to the cycle of historical trauma. Both comedies and dramas are always welcome.
