INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

THE LARK INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

As an intern at the Lark you'll join our small staff (5 full-time employees) in helping to cultivate new plays and support emerging playwrights. We rely on interns to keep our organization running and all interns are given significant responsibility. Each intern is paired with a department head who acts as a mentor and makes sure the experience is meaningful and worthwhile for both parties. All interns are expected to undertake an individual project during their time at the Lark as well as complete administrative duties. Interns are encouraged to participate in as many Lark events as possible and to take advantage of the theatre's offerings.

  • Interns work between16 - 30 hours per week, and should be able to commit to a regular schedule.
  • Internships are unpaid. College credit may be available (check with your school for details).
  • Internships generally run in the spring (Jan – May), summer (June-August) and fall (September – December). Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and we encourage applicants to apply at least 1 month prior to their desired start date.
