Krista Williams

Roundtable Director

Krista joined The Lark in 2014 as Roundtable Director.  She has previously worked with The Lark moderating Winter Writers Retreats, participating in Roundtables and working on the BareBones production of American Hwangap.  Recent Off-Broadway credits as a production dramaturg include Three Days to See, I Remember Mama, and The Patsy, the scripts of which she also abridged and adapted.  She has been Transport Group's literary manager and resident dramaturg since 2010, working on See Rock City, Hello Again, and Boys in the Band.  Other credits include the world premieres of Boleros for the Disenchanted and The Unmentionables at Yale Repertory Theatre, where she also served as literary associate.  She has developed new work with playwrights Paula Vogel, Bruce Norris, José Rivera, David Greenspan, and Lloyd Suh, among others, and with directors Anna Shapiro, Jack Cummings III, Patricia McGregor, Henry Godines, and Kent Thompson.  She has worked in New York with New Georges, Page 73, NYMF, Invisible Dog, Dixon Place, TCG, and Primary Stages, and regionally with the Denver Center Theatre's New Play Summit and Madison Repertory Theatre's Fall Festival of the Future (2003 world premier of Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice).  She has been in residence developing work at SPACE on Ryder Farm and she is currently developing a new solo production with performer David Greenspan.  She has been a contributing writer to CHANCE and YALE magazine and has served on award and grant panels for playwrights around New York.  She serves as a member of the summer theatre faculty at Interlochen Center for the Arts where she works with some pretty awesome high-schoolers, and she holds an MFA in Dramaturgy from the Yale School of Drama.
