playwrights, U.S. playwrights, and the Lark community. Through the translation of new
Mexican plays, the development of these plays with established U.S. artists, and New York cultural exploration, the program establishes ongoing
channels of communication and collaboration
between artists in the U.S. and México.

The River of Tragedy (Aquerón)

A play about identity and immigration. Leonardo dreams of crossing the river Acheron to stay on the other side and live the Death-Dream in Hades. His dreams are halted, however, when he gets caught by Nicanor, a dark and mysterious agent who was once like Leonardo.
