Roundtables
A Roundtable is a cold reading of a script with the playwright, a director/facilitator, professional actors and invited guests. Roundtables are neither staged, nor rehearsed and their focus is on hearing the words and story of the play.

The objectives of a ROUNDTABLE are:

  • To establish a working relationship with the playwright;
  • To hear how the play sounds out loud;
  • To generate enthusiasm or "heat" for a play within the Lark; and
  • To have the play discussed by a wider audience within the Lark.

Roundtables are for plays that are:

  • In the Lark pipeline
  • Written by Alumni Lark writers
  • Referred by core Lark artists and partners

For more information about scheduling or attending a Roundtable please email Suzy Fay.
