| Roundtables | ||
| A Roundtable is a cold reading of a script with the playwright, a director/facilitator, professional actors and invited guests. Roundtables are neither staged, nor rehearsed and their focus is on hearing the words and story of the play. | ![]() |

The objectives of a ROUNDTABLE are:
- To establish a working relationship with the playwright;
- To hear how the play sounds out loud;
- To generate enthusiasm or "heat" for a play within the Lark; and
- To have the play discussed by a wider audience within the Lark.
Roundtables are for plays that are:
- In the Lark pipeline
- Written by Alumni Lark writers
- Referred by core Lark artists and partners
