John M. Baker is The Lark's Artistic Leadership Fellow, focusing on strategic planning and resource development. He is in residence at The Lark through the Leadership U: One-on-One program, funded by The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and administered by Theatre Communications Group. Outside The Lark, John is the Associate Producer of Partial Comfort Productions (NYC) and the interim Literary Manager/Dramaturg at Long Wharf. He is the former Artistic Associate at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and Literary Manager at Woolly Mammoth. He has developed new work at Boise Contemporary Theatre, Clubbed Thumb, The Kennedy Center, Long Wharf, Ma-Yi, Page 73, PlayPenn, Seattle Rep, Seven Devils, South Coast Rep, Woolly Mammoth, among others. He has spent eight summers as a dramaturg at The O'Neill National Playwrights Conference. He holds a BA from Boston University and a MFA from The University of Iowa.
