LILY M. FAN is Secretary of The Lark’s Board of Trustees, which she joined in 2014 to support the organization’s strategic presence as an incubator for new voices and new plays. A theater producer and founder of Scandobean Productions LLC, her accomplishments include Broadway productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Chinglish, Love Letters, the Off- Broadway productions of Here Lies Love and The Other Josh Cohen, Miss Abigail's Guide and the feature documentary film The Standbys. She has also proudly supported the Broadway productions of Last Ship, Beautiful, If/Then, and The Mountaintop. Fan was previously a litigation lawyer at the law firms of Shearman & Sterling LLP and Morrison & Foerster LLP and served as legislative counsel in the New York State Senate. In addition, she owns a real estate business. She currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for GouverneurFamilies, the not-for-profit auxiliary of the 130-year-old HHC facility Gouverneur Health on the Lower East Side, and sits on numerous other boards and committees. Most notably, she is a member of Manhattan's Community Board 4 and is a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution committee of the NYC Bar Association. She is a graduate of Yale College and Yale Law School. She was born in Hong Kong and speaks fluent Cantonese.
