Lori Steinberg

Lori Steinberg
An activist all her life, Lori has supported numerous human rights organizations.  With the International Rescue Committee she worked as a mentor to newly arrived refugee families, helping them navigate the daunting tasks of resettlement in the United States.  She was also a member of the Advisory Council and on the Speaker’s Bureau for advocacy and has also worked on Anti-Human Trafficking Campaigns.  Today she sits on the newly formed National Committee on Refugee Resettlement. She has taught art therapy photography classes for survivors of genocide and victims of torture. As a photographer she has served on the board of the Arizona Highways Photography Workshops and led numerous workshops and tours throughout the United States and Africa.

Lori is a vocal advocate for theater and regularly attends not only in New York, but also Denver, Chicago and other regions, and regularly attends the major festivals including the Colorado New Play Summit, The Humana Festival of New American Plays and the Pacific Playwright’s Festival. As a producing partner she has been involved in producing new work and she is involved in hosting the New Works Festival in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
