Masha Pyshkina is the Advisor for The Lark's Russia/United States Playwright Exchange. She is an International Arts Producer, originally from St. Petersburg, Russia, and has over fifteen years of experience managing international programs first at The Center for Democracy in Washington, DC and later as Program Director at CEC ArtsLink in New York. She has worked across disciplines to facilitate meaningful cross-cultural dialogue in the arts and to present contemporary Russian culture to American audiences. In her current capacity as an independent international consultant and producer, she specializes in project management, strategic planning, event production, and cross-cultural partnerships. Masha holds a Masters Degree in Arts Administration from New York’s Columbia University, and undergraduate degrees from State Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg in English and Art History and from Grinnell College in Economics.
