Shara Feit is a playwright, actor, dramaturg, facilitator, and recent graduate of Northwestern University. At Northwestern, Shara studied Theatre, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and English, was a member of Northwestern Sexual Health and Assault Peer Educators (SHAPE), served as the Literary Manager of WAVE Productions, and developed a passion for building and supporting equitable and inclusive artistic communities. As a playwright and performer, Shara strives to tell radically empathetic and subversive stories about funny, smart, and weird girls and women, religion, and expansive, dynamic femininity. Shara’s plays have been developed by Young Playwrights Inc., G45 Productions, Northwestern University’s Agnes Nixon Festival, Gi60, Williamstown Theatre Festival, The 24 Hour Plays: Nationals, The Center at West Park, and the Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival. When not making theater, you can find Shara taking pictures or curled up with a book. She is positively thrilled to be joining The Lark team this season.
