Hadi Tabbal

Hadi Tabbal is a New York City-based writer and actor. As an actor, Hadi is most known for his role as Amir on NBC/Universal’s The Brave. He has had several guest appearances on television shows including, most recently, Law & Order SVU (NBC) and FBI (CBS). Hadi will be starring in Mona Mansour’s The Vagrant Trilogy at The Public Theater this upcoming season (2019/2020). Hadi has been involved in play development with major New York institutions. He currently has two full-length plays in development (The Remnants and Icarus in Berytus) as well as two half hour comedies for television. He is also working on a three-part play around Federico Garcia Lorca’s life and death including a pan-Arabic adaptation of Lorca’s La Casa de Bernarda Alba. Hadi was adjunct assistant professor at CUNY York College and artistic associate for The Sundance Theater Institute. Hadi was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. He holds a Masters in Fine Arts from The New School for Drama and is a proud past recipient of the Fulbright Grant. Abrams Artists Agency
