kanishk pandey

kanishk pandey is a writer, born in Davis, CA. At 16, he won first place in the Princeton Ten Minute Play Contest. At 19, he was then a finalist for the 2018 O’Neill National Playwright’s Conference for his play Colony. His thesis play Glenn received a staged reading at the Broke People Play Festival of 2019, as well as in the 2019 festival kanishk created, titled Adopt-A-Play. In the fall of 2019, he graduated from NYU’s Department of Dramatic Writing with a focus in playwriting. Since then, his play Lanka in the Clouds received a staged online reading as a part of The Tank's Trashfest in 2020. He also writes fiction, poetry, and essays, and is a third of the upcoming podcast, tentatively titled “Sadder Days”.
