Rehana Lew Mirza is an alum of the Rita Goldberg Playwrights’ Workshop at The Lark and holds a shared Mellon National Playwrights residency at Ma-Yi Theater with husband Mike Lew.

Full-length plays include: Soldier X (productions: Ma-Yi, Brooklyn College. NYSCA Commission, Lark Studio Retreat, Kilroy selection); Lonely Leela (productions: Desipina; LPAC. readings: Magic Theatre, New Georges); Barriers (productions: Desipina; Asian American Theater Company); Neighborhood Watch (NNPN/InterAct commission); Hatefuck (readings: Primary Fresh Ink and Ma-Yi Labfest); and A People’s Guide to History in The Time of Here and Now (upcoming: Primary Fresh Ink and New Works Brooklyn)

Additional honors: 2016 Lilly Award (Stacey Mindich “Go Write A Play” commission); Rhinebeck Musical Theater Residency and 3R Program (with composer Sam Willmott and co-writer Mike Lew for Bhangin' It); TCG Future Leader Fellowship with New Georges; NBC Shorts Audience Award; E.S.T.
