Director of Communications and People
Anna Kull works in communications, community engagement, people, and organizational culture at The Lark. She is an arts administrator, advocate, and facilitator who believes strongly in the extraordinary capacity of art-makers to imagine and build a more equitable world. Anna joined The Lark in 2005 and has served as Marketing Intern, Executive Assistant, Interim Development Manager and Director of Community Relationships. While on staff, Anna has led a website redesign, an organizational rebranding effort, and co-manages The Lark's equity, access and inclusion work. She is especially proud to have designed The Lark’s Apprenticeship Program to provide meaningful training and experience for emerging arts administrators. Also an artist, Anna has worked with Actors Theatre of Louisville, New Georges, Desipina, Orchard Project and many wonderful theatermakers as an actor. She was part of NYFA’s Emerging Leaders Boot Camp, Theatre Communications Group’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Institute, The New York City Cultural Agenda Fund’s Cultural Advocacy and Equity Program and artEquity. Anna attended Vassar College receiving a BA in psychology and theater and was born and raised in Durham, NC. She is a mom to two lovely humans and, like her mother and grandmother, is an avid birdwatcher.
