Rani O’Brien joined The Lark in 2018 as Finance Associate. Rani worked as the Managing Director and grant writer of The Vagrancy, a Los Angeles based theater company. She has directed for The Second City, Pacific Symphony, Circle Theatre (Chicago), HowlArts Gallery, and she produces her own work. She believes theater is an essential cultural force that examines the important questions of now through a poetry of action. She’s excited to marry her passion for new works, artist sustainability, and social justice in her work at The Lark. She earned her BFA at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and is a graduate of the Second City directing program.
