S.P. Hegarty-Monahan (they/them /their) is a playwright and the Development Associate at The Lark. After working for three years as the Development Associate at Busted Halo, a ministry of the Paulist Fathers, S.P. joined The Lark family in January of 2018. They received a B.A. in Theatre from Fordham University's College at Lincoln Center, and they are a member of Less Than Rent Theatre. Plays and musicals include: Aunt Jack
(produced at Empire Stage and the Vermont Pride Theater Festival), Tyrants
(music & lyrics by Alexander Sage Oyen, developed at The York Theatre and Penn State), DIVA: LIVE FROM HELL (music & lyrics by Alexander Sage Oyen, licensed/published by Dramatists Play Service), and Rodham/Sade (presented in the Sanctuary Series @ HERE Arts Center). If you're at The Lark and need a Development Associate's services, S.P. can most likely be found at their desk, frantically scrolling through spreadsheets, while eating peanut butter out of a jar.
