This play is about the city of San Francisco and the people living through its startling wave of gentrification. Linked by fleeting encounter with a homeless girl we follow twelve characters over one crazy Friday night. This is the first of a series of multi-narrative plays I'm creating for a large cast and inspired by my experiences in particular cities and the ever increasing manifestations of global weirdness. This play examines the notions of urban disparities, notions of connection and disconnection and how a cities mythologies weigh up against realities.
