Roundtable: Xavier Galva
ABOUT THE PLAY: Xavier Galva's The Project tells the stor of Antwon “Hollywood” Jackson, a real boy, living in a fabricated world. Raised in a version of the south Bronx built inside a TV studio with hidden cameras everywhere, Antwon has no idea he's the star of the most popular reality show in the world. But as Antwon's eighteenth birthday approaches and the actors playing his family and friends start to renegotiate their contracts, the world he's always known may be about to change.
Roundtables are private, informal work sessions which provide playwrights the opportunity to hear a play read aloud with actors and Lark staff, and to have a discussion around the script.
