Pearblossom Highway, 11 - 18th April 1986
By Brittany K. Allen
Leigh and Jace live in their van. Joni and Skip live in their RV. All four are determined, in their own ways and for their own reasons, to abandon "the grid." Love and hell breaks loose when this pair of pairs meet perchance at Pearblossom Highway Motor Vehicle Park, in search of a spectacular vista. This is a play about the dreaded generation gap, modes of escape and engagement in America, and the inherent politics of "self care."
