A Liberal Tradition

by Mary Hamilton

Directed by Lee Sunday Evans

Gwynn, Becky and Erin are 3 moms in Brooklyn struggling with how to impart meaning and tradition while avoiding all the social and political pitfalls that have historically come with those ideals. So they take ecstasy and look up facts on Wikipedia and try and fail and sometimes succeed to make sense of the world to their kids. The play explores the history of Christmas traditions in the United States and the complicated question of How To Be Good right now in the world.
